Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A phone or in-person consultation allows us to get to know the client and what their needs are. If they are purchasing, we ensure that they already have a pre-approval from a lender, and if not, we refer them to one of our valued industry partners. From there, we establish "must-haves" and "desires", and setup a search to find the perfect property.
For sellers, the process is a little different. We discuss the property they have for sale, establish a sales price, and market the home for sale. There are far too many details to the process to go into here, but suffice to say that we ensure that your home is the absolute best it can be when we put it on the market!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Greg holds a number of certifications including a Property Manager certificate, as well as a Community Association Manager. Additionally, Greg holds a Broker's License, and regularly conducts trainings to help new agents learn the business.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
No, there is no standard pricing system. Details can be discussed.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with all types of clients from buyers to sellers, as well as different loan types including conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
There are some questions you should always ask your real estate professional before hiring them. 1) How long have you been in the business? 2) How many transactions have you done in the last 12 months? 3) Do you work at real estate as your only job? The answers to those three questions will help you ensure that you get the right professional. Think, for example, that you were going to have heart surgery. Would you want a surgeon who had only had his/her medical license for a very short time, and had only done one or two surgeries in the past year? Or one who was well-established, and regularly did the type of surgery you required? Well, buying or selling real estate is one of the largest transactions anyone will make in their lifetime. Why would you want to leave your fate to an amateur?
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What type of home am I looking for? How much home can I afford? What type of lifestyle am I looking for? Do I plan to stay in this home for at least 3 - 5 years?
