Ms. Stamos was a REO Asset Manager for 11 years handling bank-owned properties nationwide. She was appointed by the mayor as a member of a Zoning Task Force which rewrote the entire Zoning Code for the City of Quincy, Massachusetts. She also has a background as a real estate paralegal and is a graduate of Ithaca College.

Melissa relocated to Florida from Boston, Massachusetts and grew up in Eastern Long Island in New York.
