I decided many years ago to become a dog trainer, and figure out a way to connect dogs to their owner, in a positive, Happy manner. I opened the ORIGINAL SIT Happens Dog Training after. I offer private in home training, with emphasis on canine behavior. I proudly teach you to be the trainer, so your future needs are determined by you! First (and usually only) session will result in sign language and verbal obedience from your little buddy. My main goal is to create a positive relationship between you and your dog. Once you compare my pricing to services, and the competition, you will find that I offer equal if not more for MUCH LESS pricewise then other trainers. I always offer a complimentary phone consult, and often times, many issues can be handled over the phone, without training - Free of charge. All follow up calls after training are at no charge. In person is only 50% of original cost!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always offer a complimentary phone consultation. Often times, many problems can be fixed over the phone, at no charge. Once we determine the issues, I am able to design a special training session for both pet and parent. All sessions are guaranteed. I can usually accomplish what you need in one session. There are many other trainers out there, some even with the same name, but I am the "original" SIT Happens in the Tampa Bay area.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified Dog Trainer in the state of Florida, for six years. I was trained by the head trainer of a large corporate entity, who now trains dolphins and the like at Clearwater Aquarium. In addition, I have studied canine ethology and animal behavior to better understand issues that your dog may be having.
