We are also experts in wrapping residential furniture to prevent damages during shipping. We work for reasonable prices and deliver a great service. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Call us or text is about your moving job. Details like does your move have any stairs or is there elevator access availability? Which floor you are on? How many bedrooms? What’s your current and future address? Does your building require a certain insurance information? If possible send pictures of the furniture And we can estimate a quote for your moving job?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up in the business. My parents owned an office supplies and office furniture company so I have been around the delivery business my whole life. I grew up in a warehouse everyday after school. Every summer I was in a warehouse getting orders ready for the next days deliveries and sweeping out the warehouse. I learned how to drive on a forklift. And I have been making deliveries on my own since I was 16. After college I came back to work full time and after the markets crashed I bought my first trucks and started SEGAS in the middle of the recession. Moving and Installation is our passion and we look forward to helping you with all the service you require.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Basically it’s $25/Man per hour and the truck counts as a man. So if your move is one or 2 bed rooms then 2 men and a truck would be $75/H and if your move required 3 men and a truck then it would be $100/h. If you only need men to help move then 2 men would be $50/H so it’s pretty straight forward. Some customers get creative and move all the boxes into their garage or living rooms to save time. Or disassemble all their furniture and wrap it before we arrive to save time. On the the other hand some customers need us to come in the day before and pack all the boxes and wrap the furniture, disassemble, reassemble, and mount TVs and pictures on the wall. So it’s all time based and makes pricing very simple.
How did you get started in this business?
While friends were out on vacation every summer, I was working everyday in a warehouse since I was 10 years old.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Many many Residential Moves. The other day I moved a customer into Dewayne “The Rock” Johnson’s old house in Southwest Ranches.

Coke-Cola, University of Miami, Jackson Hospital, Florida International University, Many schools in Miami-Dade and School Board of Broward County, and hundreds of smaller private firms all over south Florida and beyond.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Sometimes price is not the best factor. Ask for insurance and License information. We have all the license and insurance required for moving in South’s Florida and this protects your items in the event of a major incident.
