Did well w our small dog. Not so great with our standard poodle. Not sure he was totally bathed, and definitely didn't trim his nails. He did Poodle in an hour, after spending ample time with the Havanese. I don't know how it would be possible to fully bath a 50 lb dog with fairly long hair and blow dry, brush out, in one hour. I could be wrong, but that is the impression I was left with.
