What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Analyze the client's needs. Determina a plan of action.
Prepare necessary plans for construction or cabinetry. Selection of interior finishes (plumbing/electrical, etc) send plans out to contractors for bidding purposes. Oversee the construction of the projece. Selection of fabrics, furnishings and wallcoverings. Final installation of furniture.
I view my self as merely a pair of eyeglasses. My job is to focus my client's vision.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a four year degree in Interior Design and Space Planning. I have passed the NCIDQ national exam and am a professionaly licensed ASID (American Society of Ineterior Design) designer. I have studied at the Attingham School in the UK.
I have owned my business since 1990, primarily working in Historic preservation and renovation in Newport, RI. After relocating to South Florida, I have shifted my business model to reflect the local aesthetic.

I bill hourly ( on an "as needed" basis of 200.00 per hour. However, most of my clients are billed on a fixed contract basis, based upon the scope of the project.
