Coco's Paws
About
With ten years of experience and specializing in challenged pets by age or health, we believe that every dog deserves a spa day! We bring the spa experience to your dog where she and you can relax and enjoy the time. We set up the salon in the comfort of your home and leave everything just the way we found it! No more taking the dog to the salon and waiting all day and no more wrestling the dog in the car or having her come back home four hours later frazzled and exausted.
I have loved dogs since I remember. After managing law offices for 22 years, I decided to enjoy my days in the company of the creatures that I love so much! By coming home to them I am able to earn their trust and achieve their comfort all while my pet parents are assured of their safety.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As we receive a request via social media, telephone call or website submission, we get some information about the pet and the parent's expectations, then we set a time for the services or a quick meet if necessary. When we arrive for the spa day, we meet with the dog to establish a friendly exchange and determine if the process will be tolerated well. We set up the station for what we only need an electrical outlet and access to warm running water. After the spa day we set down and clean up the area.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
10 years of experience. Trained by a master groomer and polished skills in very prestigious grooming salons.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We service all small dogs and medium dogs that are comfortable with grooming. Because of the limitations of equipment we cannot service large or giant breeds. Prices start at $50 and are determined individually.
How did you get started in this business?
After I managed law offices for 22 years, I decided to pursue my passion of grooming dogs for the last part of my working life. Mobile grooming proved to be my niche and now in-home grooming allows me to provide services at an affordable rate given the reduced overhead costs.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've had long standing celebrity dogs and clients as well as provided free services for rescued dogs aspiring adoption. We also provide discounted rates for certified working dogs such as K-9's and therapy providers.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I always appreciate exclamations of delight from pet parents, but a dancing pup like my little Cody last week, is very rewarding!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Keep in mind that dogs are unpredictable, they might or might not welcome a lot of handling. I do what a dog allows me to do and avoid forcing or prolonging obvious discomfort to achieve any results. If trying to finish a procedure will compromise the safety of comfort of a dog, I will not insist! Sometimes it takes several visits and parents should be patient.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Consider the necessity of treatments or the condition of the coat or skin before deciding on a particular style or service. I will not de-mat a dog to keep long fur if it cannot be easily brushed out. I will not shave a dog to the skin as the coat ph gets disturbed and confused and it can result in irritation or itch that causes scratching to the point of open skin.
