What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Depends on the need of the customer but generally we arrange a time for a suveyor to meet with them at their residence to complete a walk thru and complete an estimate. These in home visits are at no cost or obligation.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Online and phone estimates are easy but they cannot be gauranteed. Schedule a surveyor to come out to perform the walk thru and provide an estimate then. It is at no cost or obligation and then it can be guaranteed.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Where they are moving to, will they require any storage, are there any extra pick ups or drop offs and what they are planning to ship. A general time frame for the move is helpful as well, estimates are good for 60 days.
