Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Come out to the house to perform a diagnostic if the system is not working. Repair prices will be given before any work is done so the customer can decide how best to move forward. If they are looking for an estimate to replace we will work out a good time for the customer to look over the job and discuss the options and pricing with the customer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduated top of my class form Mid Florida Tech in 1996. EPA Universal license. NATE certified which is the North America Technician Excellence. It's the gold standard for qualified HVAC techs in North America.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Service call to come out and diagnose the system is $80. This will typically be credited towards the repair needed if the homeowner chooses to repair the system. Or it will go towards the cost of replacement if that is the customers decision. A price will be given before any repair/s are done so that the homeowner can decide how best to move forward.
How did you get started in this business?
My Dad advised me to learn a trade back when I was in high school and ever since then I've loved repairing and installing air conditioners and meeting so many different people each day.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with all types of customers. Young, older, single people and large families. Everyone deserves to be comfortable in their homes and that's what we are here to do.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We recently installed a central air conditioning system in a home for a customer who had not had any AC in his home from when it was built 33 years ago. That's was the best feeling to see how happy and comfortable our customer was after that.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure you hire someone with a lot of experience and that is a licensed contractor. The bigger companies generally have a lot of techs but none with a lot of experience and they caharge more because they have significantly more overhead.
