We are a Veteran owned company. We deliver large items OnDemand. We say OnDemand which means that we are AVAILABLE now... yes NOW! Items that you want or need to move don't always fit in your car or schedule and Sometimes YOU JUST NEED A FRIEND WITH A TRUCK!
We have an APP and the technology is amazing. It's exciting to see people who use our APP and services. They realize immediately that they have a Box Truck, Pick Up Truck, Van, Trailer or SUV right on their phone and in their pocket.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We discuss the job requested in detail and make sure that we can meet the customers needs, time, price and quality of work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team is made up of Veterans, contractors, movers, electricians, plumbers and handymen. We all have Pick up Trucks, Trailers, Box trucks, Moving trucks, SUV's and Vans. For years we've been moving friends, relatives and ourselves helping assemble, disassemble furniture as well as installing and setting up appliances.

We have standard pricing for various different services. There are no hidden fees.
How did you get started in this business?
iHaulit was created Labor Day weekend of 2015. We were having a Labor Day cookout and needed to buy a picnic table. The home improvement store had one left that was already assembled. It wouldn't fit in our car and we really needed the extra table. The question was, "How are we going to get it home today, right now?" We thought..."wouldn't it be great to have an APP on our smartphones that we could just click, and like magic, someone in a Pickup Truck would show up in minutes! They would help load it on to their truck and deliver it to our house." We realized right then, this is a service people everywhere were in need of. Anything too large to fit in your car can be delivered OnDemand!
What types of customers have you worked with?
We're on the preferred vendors list for the State of Maryland, we've been requested by the CEO of GoodWill to visit all 3000 of their stores nationwide, we are often requested by local furniture stores, Pier1, Marshalls, Homegoods, We are the largest estate sale delivery company nationwide and in all cases we're local. We work with customers in every neighborhood.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We're fond of all our projects, to name one would be difficult. They are all challenging in their own ways. Figuring out the SAFEST and most efficient way to move and set up your items is our strength.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Don't always go with the cheapest price. You will typically get what you pay for. We find that we are often NOT the lowest price but we are rarely the highest price either.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Customers should first find out if the company can handle their request. They should make sure the company can do the job in the time frame that is right for them. Our OnDemand does just that. Last but not least, be sure the quote is FAIR without regard to HIGH or low.... simply FAIR.
