At Boudreaux Design Studio we focus on turnkey Interior Design and Remodeling. Our specialties include kitchen design, bathroom design, and custom built furniture. From small condos to large houses to boutique shops we have completed a variety of projects!
We believe in comforting environments, quality materials, and an injection of fun. Inspiration is drawn from the location of projects, as well as the lifestyle of our clients. The home is a very personal space and should reflect the character of it’s inhabitants.
In addition to aesthetics, functionality is a must. This could mean anything from creating storagewhere space is limited, brightening dark spaces, or designing custom transformable furniture to meet multiple needs.
Over the years, we've developed relationships with vendors and tradesmen to help us complete our projects that are reliable, offer fair pricing, and most importantly, they work closely with us to ensure we deliver quality work to our clients!
We enjoy getting to know each of our clients and their spaces. Each project is like a sculpture. We work closely with homeowners to help them realize their dream homes. This is accomplished by translating their needs, wants, and desires into a final product.
We understand that working with contractors is not something that most homeowners look enjoy. We've taken the stress out of this for you by vetting the contractors we have worked with over the years to make sure that they are reliable, responsible, and priced fairly. Not only do they do great work, but some of them are truly a pleasure.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Having a conversation with potential clients over the phone prior to meeting is a great way to get an idea of what they have in mind for their design project. From there we set up an initial consultation which run between $200-$400 depending on location and duration of visit.
Before the appointment, I request links to their Pintrest or Houzz accounts or for them to email me a few images that represent ideas they have.

Phases for turnkey projects:
I: Design Consultation- floorplan and 3D model of the design are created for the client showing actual appliances, finishes, and colors. Sampls of actual materials are provided to the client. Project is modified until approved, budgeted, and scheduled. Drawings are created for permitting where needed.
II: Sourcing/Specifying- Finishing materials (flooring, cabinetry, lighting), appliances, are orderd. Using the lead times we establish a schedule for the project.
III: Labor Commencement- Tradesmen will come in the order specified to complete the labor and inspections (where needed) for the job. We work with them closely to ensure they are following our plans and meeting our expectations.
IV: Installation- this is the fun part! Protective layers are peeled away, final touches and adjustments are made, the cleaning crew works their magic and then furnishings may be delivered. We schedule walk-throughs with the client to ensure that they are pleased.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have two Bachelor of Arts degrees. One degree is in Fine Arts from FSU, where I started the Interior Design curriculum and also focused on graphic art and photography. The second was later at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, where I finished my interior design studies.
During my studies I completed an internship and began working in the field. I had the opportunity to work for a variety of design sectors including hospitalitly, architectural presentation, educational, and residential.
Ultimately, when I went out on my own, I chose to focus on residentail. Boudreaux Design Studio has been opened since 2008.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
An initial consultation can be between $200-$400 depending on location and duration of visit.
We excel at turneky interior design where in we work with the client to redesign their space, specify all of the finishes, and work closely with the contractors until the job is complete. For this service we charge a design fee and a markup of the project.
Alternatively, some projects are design consultation only, wherein we create a plan for the client to follow as scheudle and budget permits. These projects are typically just a flat fee which is based on the scope of work.
What types of customers have you worked with?
The majority of our clients have been owners of second or vacation homes in South Beach. We have also worked with resident homeowners in various areas including Coral Gables, Miami Beach, Pinecrest and Fort Lauderdale. We have recently branched out of state and are currently working with clients in New York City.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Never hire a handyman to do a licensed contractor's job.
Never hire the least expensive bidder on a job.
The savings you see upfront can result in major headaches down the line.
