Home inspector state license process requires 120 hours of training and passing the state exam. To maintain the license you must do 14 hours of continued education every two years. Been in the home inspection industry for over a decade; completed over 10,000 inspections.

It all started when construction background as well as real estate and appraisal licenses under my belt.

I work with all sorts of customers from first time home buyers, entrepeanuers, real estate agents, insurance agents, investors, tenants, corporations, etc. you name it.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Always ask how long they have been in business for, if they are licensed by the state of Florida, and if they are insured.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

Think about the areas of concern you may have on the property, the deadline you have to receiving the report
