We own two (2) acres completely gated and fenced. Dog rooms, sofas, and TV. Dogs live in the safety of my home. I have an Australian Shepherd named Jeter that plays and watches over the dogs. I only board 2 or 3 at a time. I can give that amount of dogs the attention they need. Dogs get anxiety since they are not used to the new surroundings. I only take dogs that are potty trained. I leave them in their rooms I take them out to potty every 2 hours. I do not cage any dogs. Caging just causes more anxiety. Look at my website ourdoginn.com. I have been boarding for 20 years and have great clients that have been with me for 20 years.I will send pictures occasionally to owners of dogs that board with me possibly videos. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Client can bring their dog before the stay and we can agree if the dog will be comfortable here. They should also have name tags and shot records they can obtain at their vet and bring a copy. If the dog stays they must be potty trained, neutered or spayed. My 2 acres are completely fenced and gated. We always go outside when we take out the dogs. They usually come in fast since its so hot. We have wet tubs for cool downs. Their rooms have leather couches plus a flat screen TV. I will sent pictures or videos to the owner while they are on vacation.
