Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
No matter how we get the call, we contact the Customer. We keep our Customers up to date and "in the loop". Having to have your vehicle towed is stressful enough, our mission is to help relieve that.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Reality is there is no training required for towing. Here at Get Hooked however, all of our drivers and dispatchers go through extensive in house training before they are on their own; keeping our Customers in the center of our focus.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We do have "In Town" Pricing, which ranges from $65 up.
Our pricing is dependent on the vehicle, breakdown location and the location where the vehicle is going.
Also, if we have to use any extra equipment, tolls, or convenience fees.
How did you get started in this business?
Our team got started in this business to help people.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Our team has dealt with every type of customer, from friendly, to worried, to scared, and of course the occasional rude and nasty. Again, we meet people on one of their worst days...it is our mission to make it a great day!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We had a Driver on SR 528 (which is a major highway) assisting a Customer whose vehicle broke down. As he got it loaded onto our flatbed, another driver hit a puddle of water, lost control, hit the concrete barrier and came to rest close to our Driver and Truck. Our Driver ran to this occupant, helped keep them calm, assisted in dialing 911 and stayed with them until help arrived. Our driver made such an impact on her, she only wanted us to tow her...which we made happen!!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would recommend to look into what the company requires out of their staff. It is not a requirement to do background checks unless the tow company works with a provider that requires them.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Customers should think about if their pick up and drop off locations are open or closed. Here at Get Hooked, if we cannot confirm there are no monies do at the pick up, we will not pick it up. Sometimes, the drop off location has a key drop after hours, which means we can still tow it after hours.
