What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, an in home consultation, and then make a personalized game plan for each customer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 6 years of service dog training utilizing positive reinforcement. Have over 50 working teams in the US. Also dog CPR certified.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
In home consultation: $50 plus potential travel charges.
Lessons: can range from $60-$100 depending on issue/amount of dogs/location.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a variety of clients, ranging from military veterans, children with autism, people with mental and physical disabilities, teenagers, and families as a whole. Basically anyone under the sun.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Do your research and make sure you agree with the trainers methods! There are a lot of con artists out there or trainers who use aversive techniques that compromise the relationship between you and your dog.
Also be prepared to be committed even after training is over. Consistently is key!
