Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am currently the manager at Petco in addition to grooming from home so I am here to suit all pet parent needs. Rather it be at our corporate location or a my cozy home where your pet may have a more free and relaxing environment. 😊
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been been working as a pet groomer for over 2 years now. I am certified pet groomer that has received professional training from an accredited academy on dog handling and grooming services.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Price is based on size of dog and coat condition.
How did you get started in this business?
I was a medical assistant for 10 years and wasn't happy. I felt I should be following my passion so I left my job and found training to become a professional groomer and I couldn't be happier!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Well I currently work at a corporate location and from home so I deal with all walks of life and pets of all ages. Puppies up to senior dogs as well.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently worked with a 6 month old puppy who was very nervous and never had any grooming experience. As a professional groomer I gave frequent breaks and gave him the freedom to let him be himself during the whole process. This is something they will have to do for the rest of their lives, so making sure this experience is relaxing as possible is very important.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I am amazing with dogs age will take great care of them, I treat them as if they were my own. I was always told in my younger years that dogs are drawn to me and that I have a way with them. Working with dogs comes natural to me and I don't look at it as a job because I enjoy what I do and can't imagine doing anything else.
