Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Client called with an unruly, aggressive 1 1/2 year dog. She didn't like her dog and her dog didn't like her. After working with me for 6 months, the bond between this dog and owner are stronger than I've ever seen.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Check their background and training style. Ask questions from the trainer. Dog training is an unregulated profession and there are many unqualified people working with dogs.
Some people prefer to use shock and prong collars, others want only positive reinforcement.
Make sure you understand the different training methods and choose one that best fits your needs.
