I love dogs and have loved them my entire life. Back in Venezuela I helped rescue, foster and care for street and abandoned dogs. One of my two dogs is a rescue and I had them in Venezuela and brought them with me when I moved to the United States. They are my life.
Grooming dogs gives me an opportunity to connect with all kinds of dogs, from tiny lap dogs to big lap dogs. My number one priority is the comfort, peace of mind and happiness of every dog.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new customer reaches I ask the client several questions regarding the dog. These include; the date of the most recent grooming, I ask about the dogs behavior in previous grooming sessions. I explain to the client what my work flow is and what is the best scenario for the dog's well being and peace of mind. I explain that I work in the client's preferred spot in their own home. I make sure to explain that wherever I'm asked to set up will be left as clean as it was. If the client is comfortable being present they're welcome to do so. Finally, I ask about style or look they prefer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied and was certified back home in Venezuela and upon arriving in the USA I also studied and was certified as Professional Pet Groomer (I only groom dogs). I have 6 years experience in the USA and worked 4 years for a major South Florida mobile pet grooming company.

How did you get started in this business?
Dog grooming for me started as a hobby with my own dogs. Eventually, I decided to learn the proper and professional way of doing the grooming without realizing it would eventually become my full time passion and profession.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My human and canine clients vary from all kinds of breeds, large and small with parents from young professionals to retired and older parents. I travel from Miami Dade to Palm Beach County.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
First of all, make sure you hire a groomer who truly loves dogs. This guarantees the proper and careful treatment of your pet. A professional will treat your dog like her-his own. Inquire if the groomer uses quality products and she takes her time with your pet. A 20 minute groom is almost guaranteed to not be thorough and complete.
