What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet with a new client to determine what their real estate needs are, whether buying or selling. As a buyer we go through the process of pre approval, finding them a house, writing the offer and negotiating the deal to get the contract, work with them through the inspection phase, making sure the settlement company and mortgage company have their paperwork complete, complete walk through and accompany them to settlement. As a seller we will do a comprehensive comparable market anaylsis to determine the right price to list your house, show you are detailed marketing plan, work with the seller to prepare the house, negotiate offers to the sellers satisfaction, make sure the buyers complete the contract and get to settlement.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Jeri and Jesse are both licensed Broker Associates , Resort & Second-Home Property Specialist Certified and Seniors Real Estate Specialist. Jeri is also a Certified Residential Specialist, a designation that is the top 3 percent of all realtors.

How did you get started in this business?
We both transitioned into real estate from the educational field. Jesse taught 37 years as a Teacher, Athletic Director and Coach. Jeri taught for 15 years as a teacher, mentor, area specialist and assistant principal. We both started our real estate careers as part time realtors but within 2 years we both became full time realtors and have been in the business for 15 years.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with the first time home buyers, moved up buyers, luxury home buyers, clients looking to downsize and also elderly moving into independent living.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Meet with a couple of realtors and ask questions of how they work. Make sure that you a comfortable with the agent and have trust in them to do the job for you.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Ask about their experience, education, how they handle the process and also ask for references.
