Julie Kogen is unique among South Florida’s premier interior design and real estate experts. With three decades as a builder, interior designer and realtor in some of the region’s premier neighborhoods, Julie looks beyond a home’s value to envision its possibilities.

Julie adds value to every design-build and home-buying experience. She visualizes transformations. She’s quick to spot hidden gems in the market – and defects in older homes that may affect the sale price to her client buyer’s benefit.

She works closely with buyers, whether they want a home in move-in condition, or simple to extensive, whole-home renovations to transform the residence they buy into the home of their dreams.

Julie began her career in Chicago as a residential interior designer, soon transitioning to home sales. This proved fortuitous; Julie sold more than 250 homes at luxury residential developments. Julie sold out several high-profile new home developments.

A savvy negotiator, Julie has closed more than $175 million in sales. Her breadth of experience makes Julie as comfortable showing a luxury beachfront penthouse or golf course residence as guiding work crews on an active jobsite. Julie has handled new home sales and renovation construction in Woodfield Country Club, St Andrews Country Club, Bocaire Country Club, Newport Bay Club, and Les Jardins.

Regardless the buyer’s or seller’s intention, with hundreds of home sales behind her, Julie strives to simplify every transaction. Because at heart, Julie – a graduate of the University of Illinois – is a people person. She’s also the proud mother of two daughters in whom she instilled strong people skills and work ethics by their watching mom at work.

Success stories in their own right, daughter Jordan was accepted to medical school at 19 and now is in her residency. Jackie finishes law school this year at 23, with plans to work with Julie’s investors and eventually take over Kogen Construction.
