    Great, hard working team. They wrapped all of our glass tabletops, TVs, and furniture for protection. Moved everything from a 3rd floor apartment including a large quantity of books. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Initial contact. Request information needed for estimate. Provide basic estimate. Do any needed or requested adjustment. Request customer approval and acceptance. Provide confirmation of appointment. Send a final reminder of appointment. Showup for appointment. Do the requested work. Request payment and review.


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Lindenwood University. Extensive training and experience in customer service. 18 years of general delivery experience. 8 years experience in my own delivery business.


Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

We do our best to be fair to our customers. We are flexible and willing to work things out with them.

We accept cash, checks, credit/debit and other methods of payments.

Our standard rates are for 2 movers and a 15 ft truck and they cover 25 miles radius from our location. The hourly rate is $85/hr with 2 hours minimum charge. Time over the 2 hours minimum is charged in 1/4 hour basis. Additional one time fees are: $10/each floor above the 1st ground floor (stairs) $10 for using elevator $10/extra stop $3/each full extra large boxes and pieces of furniture {furniture needs to be empty} $20 fuel fee for Pickup and/or delivery outside the 25 miles radius of our location. 5 % added to the total for debit and credit card payment.


How did you get started in this business?

At the beginning I did various delivery jobs on a part time basis as a second job. When I started my commerce business I provided shipping and delivery services as a complementary addition to our customer which developed to a full fledge service offered to the market.

We have worked with and served both residential and business customers.


What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Do your research and home work. Have a moving plan. Be prepared for the move. Ask for help if needed. Don't overload boxes. Make sure you have cautions for fragile items. Empty out the furniture. Provide adequate information including photos to movers.


What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

Scheduling and availability. Budget, cost and pricing. additional charges. Size of truck and number of helpers. Flexibility in case of changes. deposit. Payment methods available. What is included in the estimate.
