Established in 2008, Solar Solution is the largest Washington D.C.-based solar PV developer and installer. Driven by the pursuit of a cleaner, healthier America, Solar Solution provides a clean energy option through systems installed on the rooftops of homes and businesses. We work to educate our community on how solar systems work, the installation process, and government incentives available to offset costs. Solar Solution has also developed it's own solar programs financed internally to help D.C. homeowners and businesses go solar with $0 upfront cost and no credit checks. Solar Solution is a Certified Business Enterprise (CBE) and an authorized contractor by the D.C. Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE).

We have been able to change the face of Washington DC by installing over 4,000 solar projects (55% of all solar) in the city. Every household we work with saves hundreds of dollars each year on electric costs. Last year alone, our customers combined saved over $3 Million dollars in electric savings. with 70% of that money spent locally, we have stimulated our local economy while doing our part to protect the planet!
