How did you get started in this business?
I had always hired real esate agent to buy and sell my personal homes and decided to take real estate classes to learn more about the process. I was so impressed with what I had learned and enjoyed the work so much that I changed careers.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Wow, having helped four hundered family buy or seller thier homes there just isn't enough room. Two of the largest groups would have to be first time home buyers and families selling thier home. I also work with estate and investors.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was working with a young couple helping them purchase thier first home. The market is currently extreemly competative in and they found themselves competing against other buyers in multiple-offer senarios. Finally we found an off-market property that they did not have to compete against other buyer for. The real bonus was is was much nicer than any of the other condo we has previuoly seen.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Invest some time upfront learning about thier experience and then hire the most qualified person that you think you will enjoy working with. Life is way to short to spendt time working with someone you don'y enjoy being around.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What is your time frame? I often will spend more time getting a house prepared to go on the market than it will actually be on the market.
What is your plan B? Always have a plan B.
