I've been a full-time piano technician for 34 years. I enjoy working on all types of pianos, and offer a full range of services including tuning, repairs, appraisals, cleaning, and rebuilding. In particular, I enjoy exceeding customer's expectations in transforming they're not so well-maintained instruments, into pianos that excite them and make them want to play.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For new customers, I generally inquire about the type of piano they have, make and model. Upon arriving at the home, I will do a quick inspection of condition, inquire as to when the piano was last tuned or serviced. Since most appointments are made for tunings, at this time I will either proceed with the tuning as scheduled, or discuss any possible repairs that may be necessary before actually tuning the piano, and provide a quote right there for said repairs.
