What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Our pricing for home inspections is based on the properties characteristics. We take into consideration the square footage, year built, and location of the property when determining the price for a home inspection service.
How did you get started in this business?
In 2008, I began working with different banks and asset managers. I provided them with residential and commercial property condition reports. The condition reports focused on the condition of various interior and exterior property characteristics.
What types of customers have you worked with?
NextDay Inspect® professionals are familiar working with customers that are in the process of a real estate transaction or performing routine maintenance inspections for homeowners primary residence. When working with a customer that is a first-time home buyer, our inspectors make efforts to educate the customer about suggested property maintenance tasks.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A 5-Story commercial building was inspected. The commercial building was being used as an office space. This was inspected by two inspectors, and the on-site inspection took two full days to complete. The report provided to the client was a comprehensive 143-page report that detailed all of the inspectors' findings and the condition of the various components throughout the commercial building.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
It is recommended to inform the scheduling coordinator of any areas of concern at the property. This ensures that the inspector will take extra steps to thoroughly inspect that area of concern and provide details about their findings during the on-site inspection and in the written report.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
It is recommended to ask the inspector for a copy of a sample report prior to scheduling. The benefit of reviewing the sample report is that it will illustrate the layout of the report and the type of verbiage that may be used. You can view a copy of NextDay Inspect®'s sample report on our website.
