Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Speak over the phone or message back and forth through email and then head to our website to book your inspection with desired services. You can book at www.booktheinspection.com
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
State certified and AHIT certified home inspectors, as well as radon measurement specialists with NRSB. We also have inspectors that are ACI (ASHI Certified Inspector), CRT (Certified Residential Thermographer), and Maryland Licensed.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Our prices are listed on our website - we price homes based on the size of the house (square footage, including any unfinished space). We offer additional services as well such as radon testing, leak detection, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) testing, Sewer line video inspections, level 2 chimney inspections and more!
How did you get started in this business?
Previously worked in home improvement and contracting, we turned to inspections in 2012.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types: First time home buyers, experienced home buyers, military, government officials, famous musicians, law enforcement, etc etc. We are great with all types of customers!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure they are properly licensed and certified, as well as view their sample inspection reports to ensure the quality of inspection you will be getting. We don't compete on price, we compete on service and quality. Not all home inspectors are the same and the old saying holds true "you get what you pay for".
