Personal Background
A lifetime Connecticut resident, I worked as a realtor for over 14 years. Prior to my career in Real Estate, I worked as a nurse in all areas of the hospital. The transition to Real Estate was a natural platform where I continued to tune into the needs and concerns of my clients. I've been blessed with a wonderful husband of over 20 years and two beautiful daughters.

It's about working together with your customers listening to them and other professionals to help keep their fingers on the pulse of the market with current up to date real estate information on properties for sale. They can use my custom valuation tool to help them determine the value of their homes prior to selling and, with my experience of 15 years all throughout CT I can help them achieve their selling or buyer needs.
Even in a down market I've been equipped to sell homes for a reasonable price to buyers and make my sellers happy too. I have a GRI or graduate of realtor institute certificate and a AHWD at home with diversity designation which allows me to work with a multiude of people from different backgrounds.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually commuicate either on line or by phone to discuss the services I have to offer and to see if I can be of assistance with any aspect that my potential clients are looking for. A face to face meeting is always my preferred policy when possible to get to know my clients. If I can help then we talk about paperwork and what is required to hire me and initiate business together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 15 years of experience working with buyers and sellers of residential, land, and some commercial properties. I can also provide a relocation division through my company or, explore investment properties and building options. I possess the GRI and AHWD designations which stand for Graduate of Real Estate Institute and At Home With Diversity. These have given me added perspective working with a multitude of customers and sceanarios in different aspects of Real Estate.

Pricing is through my brokerage at this time which is always negotiable.
How did you get started in this business?
I got started in Real Estate with my own first home purchase which was quite problematic. I learned that it would be a great thing for me to help others not experience the same difficulties.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Mostly buyers and sellers of residential homes, condos, multifamily, commercial, and land. I also work with renters who will later become my buyer customers. I've worked with relocation clients referring them out to local business associates who work in areas they want to move to. I work to achieve customer satisfaction in whatever avenue is available.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was very happy to sell a large home that had diverse functions with an in-law suite. The buyers were from NY and were especially delighted to find a home that provided everything they were looking for.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
They should decide if buying Real Estate that they must be prepared with a financial qualification letter either from their bank or financial institution. I can help them get qualified with very competent people I work with as well. This is so important as a seller won't even look at an offer of a buyer who isn't qualified. I can always have them fill out a home seller or buyer form that helps them ask themselves the questions they may not have considered while making a move.
