About
Here at Doggiefit we take a balanced approach to training dogs. We understand that each dog is an individual and we stay far away from a cooker cutter approach. What might work for one dog isn't going to necessarily work for another dog so we like to keep an open mind when training dogs. I personally come from a Working K9 and Sport dog background when I've spent the last 5 years dealing with various working breeds of dogs, everything from German shepherds, Belgian Malinios, Dutch Shepherds, Rottweiler's, American Pitbull Terriers and so much more. Coming from the sport and working dog world I've learned a lot of things that can translate over to the average house pet and help improve communication between owner and dog, and overall improve the quality of life for the owner and pet.
I love improving the relationship between dog and owner and helping people understand how to effectively communicate with their dogs. Nothing makes me happier than taking a dog that is giving its owners a hard time and watching the relief when we're able to solve whatever issue it is their having. I also REALLY enjoy when people get a young pup and seek training in order to prevent bad behaviors.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Here at Doggiefit before we do anything we set up a 100% free evaluation. At the evaluation we get a feeling for you and your dogs relationships and any potential issues. While gauging the relationship between you and your dog we like to explain our method of training and what we find most effective when trying to communicate with your dog. After the evaluation we create a plan of action and discuss what services would work best for you and your pup.
