Eileen R. Corbin, Interior Design
About
I have been an Interior Designer for over Thirty years. Eileen Corbin's portfolio encompasses both commercial and residential work. Assignments have taken Eileen across the continental United States, Europe and Austrailia. The projects have all been different and my clients have been very pleased with the outcome. I followup on all aspects of the projects to make sure everything exceeds the owners expectations. My design preference is to develope an eclectic mix of furnishings, in order to creatively enhance the ambiance of the space. Combining traditional antiques with contemporary lines and textures is executed carefully. The end result is a home with an infusion of design styles that work well together creating a harmonious place to live.
My website is, EileencorbininteriorDesign.com and I have a profile on LinkedIn and Facebook. I have been a member of ASID for 27 years.
When a project is delivered and completed to the clients' wishes, I find it very satisfying. It is exhilerating to see the plans come together. Working on home renovations that expand a home and incorporate new and exciting spaces is very exciting.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I set up an appointment and discuss all of the specific questions the client may have. I take pictures of the spaces to retain an aspect of the existing space and to get a sense of the clients' preferences in terms of color and decor. We discuss all of the options available within the project and changes they wish to make. As a full service design firm, Eileen Corbin supervises the selections from start to finish.

Prior to going back to school for an Interior Design Degree, I worked in Museums and Art Gallery's. I have always had an interest in Art and Design. Fairfield University has an exceedingly broad Interior Design Program and I enjoyed every minute of it.
