I’m a veteran electrician for 30 years now I worked with unions & non unions on industrial commercial jobs most of my life and then I went into the residential field when I obtain my electrical licenses
I enjoy everything about the job it’s so self gratifying to figure out troubleshoot things that aren’t working. And putting a smile on homeowners face after all their new installations are complete from lighting to generators to pools & so on

Yes I have two types of billing one of an hourly rate time and material on work that is unforeseen scene.. or an estimate/contract agreed on a job which work has been scoped and detailed before hand. For example jobs that have blueprints brand new installation or additions
How did you get started in this business?
I was 17 years old when I was offered to do electrical work I took it and never look back
