How did you get started in this business?
Amy began in real estate at the ripe age of 18. Right out of high school she worked at Century 21 in Glastonbury Village Green and felt as if she was this little girl lost in the big world of Real Estate. Her first few months were hard, she felt as if she spun her wheels and while borrowing gas money to get to her appointments.
Her now current office manager, Armand, being her broker at that time, held a contest for an all-expense paid trip to New York. Being 18 this would be her fist chance to see NYC. Amy knew it will be amazing to win the contest and ultimitley the trip; 10 transactions complete in one month. She plotted a plan to accomplish this goal.
Amy won the trip.
She found that setting a GOAL assisted her in achieving what she truly wanted. She then spent every month setting and obtaining her goals.
Soon Amy knew the in and outs of Real Estate and in a few short years living as an agent, she superseded all her goals which landed her as one of the Century 21 Top 10 Producers in the state of CT.
Amy knew the ins-and-outs of Real Estate and only in a few short years living as an agent, she superseded all her goals which happen to make her the Century 21 1997 Top 10 Producers in the state of CT. At that time, she was the Century 21 Top Producer.
Amy calculated her career path and became extremely large, so large that her business model outgrew her. She arranged a team of Agents for fielding her buyer calls and maintained her personal referrals.
Agents began grouping around Amy and after years of flourishing in this fashion her team asked if she would open her own firm. Amy’s team, the founding agents of Executive Real Estate, formed, along with her, a new business entity. They immediately became one of the largest independent offices in their local Realtor market.
They were all fearful about venturing off on their own. But the simple truth is that if your Customer Service is held to the highest standard then growth is unstoppable. Their clients then began to grow her business; the personal referrals to all of the executive agents flourished.
Today, Executive Real Estate is over 10 years old, well over 100 agents strong, multiple office locations across 3 states, and STILL growing!
