Hey there, I'm Cocco the Great, the ever imaginative designer you have been looking for! I specialize in creating large scale artworks using reclaimed materials (think large scale feature walls utilizing anything that your heart desires.) I know how to transform any space on any budget to deliver a finished product that you will love for years to come.
I love creating completely imersive designs that transform a room from whatever to something that truly defines who someone is. I don't just copy and paste designs from one home to another, I create something unique for each and every home. My traditional design sense is rooted in very industrial, modern aesthetic, but given the right references can be whatever it is that makes you tick. I love working with new mediums and creating one of a kind spaces for people that want to stand out from the crowd. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process begins with an initial consultation in person (prefered) or via video conferencing. I love to get to know the client, their vision, their expectations, and what it is they are looking for. I will then introduce myself and my work and give a rough draft of what I see their space turning into. From there I will finalize a design plan and give a formal timeline of events for the client to review for their approval. Once approved the project begins and their dreams come to life.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My undergraduate work was preformed at the University of Hartford where I learned a majority of my formalities in artistry and design. From there my work has been heavily involved in the entertainment industry where I have created sets for local and national touring artists. In addition to set creation I have worked in the home creating personalized spaces that embrace not only key design elements, but the emotions that a client is looking for from their project.
