I live in Torrington, CT with my husband and 3 dogs I have had dogs all of my life , I have bred and shown Champion rough and smooth collies. I have done obedience , conformation,agility and trained service dog and currently have an 8 month old doberman who is still in training. I only use positive reinforcement. I have been training my own dogs for over 10 years continually going to dog classes with myself and my dogs and always learning. I have trained puppies as well as adults. I worked for a service dog facitlity for just under 1 year and trainined goldens and labs for service work.hence gaining more knowledge to carry over to my own puppy i am also training for myself as a PTSD service dog.
I enjoy working with dogs and their owners. I like to help make the bond between the two stronger and safer. I also train in mostly PTSD/anxiety service work as well.currently enrolled in CATCH dog training program as well as the service dog training Institute.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet and greet consultation will be required at no charge, If agreed apon client will then sign and contract and waver. Should you want me to train your dog a deposit of 1/2 (non refundable) of the training price will be due 2 weeks before fjrst lesson with the remainder due 1st day either by cash or check.
Also you must bring with you a copy of current vaccine status as well as current clean fecal report..
