I became a Realtor over 10 years ago because I’ve always loved everything about the industry. I’ve convinced several friends to become Realtors over the years when I wasn’t quite ready myself and they’ve enjoyed careers for over 30 years. I love the feeling I get by helping someone buy the home of their dreams and helping someone sell a home they’ve loved for years to someone that’s going to love it next! While completely professional, I have made many friends through the years by selling homes both to and for people. It is a passion, the saying is do what you love, and love what you do and I definitely do!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with my clients for consultations. Buyers usually in my office first to interview each other and explain the process. With sellers I usually meet in their home first presenting a market analysis and my listing presentation.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
No, commissions are negotiable between the seller and listing agent and are agreed upon at the listing appointment.
How did you get started in this business?
Din 2009 during the recession, with so many people, friends and neighbors, losing their homes I decided I didn’t want to ever again not know what was happening in the real estate world and I wanted to be in a position to help and advise my friends, family and neighbors so I retired from a 30+ year career as a retail Jeweler and earned my Real Estate license and became a Realtor.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
on Sunday I showed a 3 family home to a buyer that I had showed a home to before about a month ago. Tunbeknownst to me they had looked at a few homes with other Realtors. My clients fell in love with the home I sent to them and showed them and they came back to my office to write an offer. During this process, at my office, they expressed how pleased they were with me and how much they appreciated my communication with them. They described how I was so much more experienced and knowledgeable than the other agent they had met. They took several of my cards and said they would be referring me to all of their friends.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Interview each other for compatibility. Make sure they are experienced in both working with buyers and sellers. They should have great marketing skills, are social media savvy and computer literate. Do they have good systems in place? A team to service your needs? Good communication skills are a must!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
