Hello! My name is Valerie Griffin and my husband Robert and I have owned and operated Creative Wall Designs for almost 30 years! We offer interior design and decorating services, professional painting and wallcovering installation, both residential and small commercial clients. Helping customers achieve their home improvement goals on a timely basis and within budget , with out sacrificing a quality job, has always been our goal.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Obviously each job has its own set of circumstances! However I normally start out by what I call a meet and greet which is complementary. Both myself and the client has to decide if we’re a good fit and then I take their information and what their needs are and move forward from there. Listening is the key!!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree from University of Connecticut in design management. My minor studies were in historical renovation. My sister, who along with my husband and I , started this business 30 years ago graduated from the United States professional school of paper hanging up in Rutland Vermont. Although the school is no longer in business is served us very well! The three of us learned how to Hang wallpaper under all circumstances and in all types of homes and businesses.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing for my design services are $75 per hour but there are variables , which I will discuss with each client in detail. Each job is different and requires a different amount of work. Some clients like me to handle everything from start to finish while some others want to be involved in the process.
