Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to meet the client at their home and review the scope of work. Once we have established the scope we will survey, draw the existing conditions, design and create plans and elevations for the proposed work. We will then meet with the client and review the design. When the plan is settled we continue with Construction Documents and then bid & filing drawings for submission. The bids will be returned and reviewed, a contractor will be chosen and the construction will commence.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Architecture and have been practicing for over 22 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Each project is evaluated for the specific scope of work and then the fee can be determined.
How did you get started in this business?
It all started with a Mechanical Drawing class in High School.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with all types of clients from working on super high-end apartments and yachts to the most basic renovation/addition. Our goal is to create a space people will love.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
A costumer always has to look at the work and speak to the references of the potential Architect, Engineer or Contractor which ever the case may be. You want to hire someone you are comfortable with. It may not always be the lowest cost but most of the time, you get what you pay for.
