About
DesignYourBasement.com, founded in 2010 and based in Thornton, Colorado, is a specialty design firm focused on basement remodels and finishes. The team delivers design-only services nationwide and in parts of Canada through online, real-time collaboration and 3D rendering. Clients receive permit-ready 2D blueprints and 3D visuals; packages typically exceed six pages and include detailed plans, renders, and layered sheets for specific trades to support accurate, apples-to-apples contractor bids. Designs are created to meet or exceed code and can be adapted to any jurisdiction, including areas with advanced energy requirements. The firm also provides design services for whole-home remodels and new construction, and offers consulting to review contractor estimates and contracts. Backed by more than 30 years of combined design-and-build experience, the team is available to build in the Denver metro area. Recognition includes Best of Houzz awards for Service from 2014 through 2020 and Best of Houzz for Design in 2017. An initial consultation is free.
