The owner of Colorado Canine Academy, Kenneth Bradshaw, has been training dogs since he was a teenager, learning how to train hunting dogs at the instruction of his uncle. Since then he has learned through schooling and on the job experiance the science of animal behavioralism and the training methods of creating service dogs. He has worked in the trenches of animal rescue and worked closely in rehabilitaing "unadoptable" dogs and placing them in family homes as well mannered pets. Ken saw a need in the private sector to help people who adopt shelter dogs and have trouble dealing with some of the issues they can present. Ken wants to offer these skills to dog owners in the Denver Metro area at an affordable price to give dog owners the tools to have Denver's Happiest Dogs.
