How did you get started in this business?
I began dog training in 1991 when I rescued a puppy Malamute. She was a handful and very mouthy. I had 3 young boys at the time and was concerned my puppy would one day bite my children. I enrolled in private lessons, the group classes and before you knew it I titled my malamute in AKC Obedience competitions. I became a certified dog trainer and purchased a doggie daycare, boarding & training facility and ran that for 12 years. I have worked as an animal control officer and an manager of a wildlife sanctuary.
I enjoy the one on one personalized dog training experience that in home lessons provide. I can help a dog owner solve their dogs problem behaviors right where they are the most challenging. At home, on walks, or at the park.
