About
My training program gives the customer several effective options when it comes to training their dogs. I offer an in-home board and train program, as well as one on one sessions with the owner. I customize my training to meet the clients' needs, and offer basic obedience, behavior modification, and puppy socialization in addition to service dog and protection dog training. If my client has an idea of a specific behavior that he or she would like their dogs to learn and perform on cue, I can absolutely tailor the training program to include those custom behaviors.
I love helping dog owners improve the relationship they have with their dogs. I enjoy teaching both the dogs and the owners various aspects of dog training. My love for animals drives me to work extra hard for my clients and their canines, to achieve the best possible results and to exceed their expectations.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free consultation during which I come out and evaluate the dog in his or her environment. I chat with the client about the issues that they need addressed and the goals they have for their dog's training. Depending on what they would like to achieve, the time frame in which they hope to achieve this, and the behaviors they would prefer modified, I communicate to them which methods will best suit their goals and situation. If they like what they hear and agree with my methods and training philosophy, I set up a time and date to begin the training. If they prefer me to board and train the dog, this would typically entail a 4 week training program. If they would rather have me come out and train their dog a few times a week, this involves me charging an hourly fee and assigning them some homework before our next session. My training programs are flexible and I pride myself on having a solution for just about every issue that the client may be experiencing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked as a dog trainer for 10 years, having trained service dogs for Freedom Service Dogs of America, as well as being the trainer on staff for Maxfund Animal Adoption Center. I earned my animal trainer apprenticeship from the US Department of Labor in 2011 and have worked with dogs ever since. I am currently attending a Schutzhind K9 Sports club with my Belgian Malinois where I train and learn from world class trainers for 6-11 hours each week.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Our prices vary depending on the type of training and program chosen. For instance, boarding-in training starts at $1750 for a 28 day board-and-train, while private lessons are charged by the hour. Other options include group classes (for graduates of our training program), and these cost a flat rate of $250 for 8 one-hour-long sessions. We also offer a "schoolday" option, when the owner drops off their dog in the morning for a day of training, and picks the dog back up in the evening. This option starts at $75/day but varies (like all of our other options) depending on the type of training required, aggression level, etc. For the most recent, detailed, and updated price information, please contact us through our web site. We often have promotions, great deals, and word-of-mouth referral discounts.
