I have been training animals most of my 47 years. I trained my first dog at six years old and became certified in 1997. I am also certified in Animal Science and Veterinary Technician. I enjoy helping people understand train and live well balanced lives with their pets. I also ride and train horses.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will make an appointment to meet and fill out any paperwork needed for the job. Then possibly go over some basic training aids to practice for the first week then come back for some serious training. We will go over any problems, issues and then go from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified in Animal Science, dog obedience and vet tech.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Depending on the services needed I charge $20-$50 for training, and follow ups. I spend as long as we need to get the training done but usually each session lasts 2 hours.
How did you get started in this business?
I started my training with my on dogs as a child, my mother also a certified dog trainer. Then I trained neighbors dogs and friends. In 1997 I started my own business and got my certification.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with all types of customers and pets. I can help with obedience, puppy, and aggression training.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
i helped train a dog that was being spoiled by the family and started becoming aggressive with her space, food and front door. I was able to get the whole family to work together on the dog training and learn how to live peacefully together.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make a plan on what you would like to see happen from the training session. Be willing to change any bad habits in order to better understand how to talk to and train a dog.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Customers should write down any questions, problems, issues that they are having. Have some idea of what they expect from a tranet, what they can afford, and be ready to talk about daily life with pet and healh.
