About
From what our past customers have told us we are different in that they can tell that we truly strive to give them exactly what they want when it comes to their completed project. Not only do we ask a lot more questions at the first meeting then other companies they have met with but we continue to do so throughout the project which makes them feel more envolved and that we really try to get to know them on a more personal level in order to get every detail down to the smallest one perfect.
We love hearing the customer talk about the specific details that are important to them or how they envision the project coming out to because then we get to turn around and help them attain whatever it is they are looking for and there is nothing more satisfying than having the customer come out when everything is completed and cleaned up to say they "Love it" or "It's better than they imagined". For us, That's when the job is really done.... that's the reaction we really strive to get.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to come meet our customers in person so that way they know who will be working around their home. This is very important to us as we feel it's a great honor to be asked into someone's home. During this time we will get measurements, take pictures, & go over all the details of the project from both our side & the homeowners. Before we leave we will provide you with a Verbal Estimate and once we leave we will double check our figures, See if we have any ideas that may be beneficial for the project, check on getting prices for materials/project lowered and then once we are done we will send you over the Written Estimate, usually within a few hours. Once hired, We will do our best to get started Setting up and the concrete ordered within 48 hours, then we will come pour & finish it on the scheduled day. Following the pouring of concrete we will come take off forms and finish any clean up that still needs to be done, this is usually done the following day. From Start to Finish we strive to be done within 3-4 However, Because each job is unique and we live in Colorado so weather can play a role in curing time, etc. the exact time frame can exceed that but we always keep customers as up to date as possible the entire time we are working on their project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our head finisher has been finishing concrete Residentially and Commercially for over 25 years. We keep all Finishers up to date on new & upcoming trends in the ever changing Design and Decor aspect of Concrete & We utilize any & all classes offered by Partnering Company's in order to make our Finishers the best around. Our employees are kept current on Certifications by taking courses offered by OSHA & MSHAW. We also try to keep all employees current on CPR Certifications in case the need to use it should arise.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Each job really is a case by case scenario and the cost depends on so many different factors it would be impossible to lock down a Standard Price for everyone. In order to help understand some of these factors I have listed the major ones below as well as a brief description to how or why it affect pricing.
1. How many yards of concrete will be needed? This effects the total cost of the Concrete itself as Concrete is charged per yard. 2. Will we be tearing out any old Concrete or other Yard Materials in order to place the new Comcrete? This can play a significant role in the pricing depending on what needs taken out as each job could require very different equipment. It can also largely effect the cost of hauling & dump fees that we will be charged. 3. What will the Concrete be used for? Are any Stairs or Walls being done or just Flat work? Answers to these will determine what type of Concrete to pour, & How thick to pour it (Certain things like Driveways require a much Stronger and/or thicker Concrete to be poured then a patio requiring more Concrete to be purchased) and if any additives will need to be added into the Concrete (Ex. Fiber can strengthen Concrete but is a cost charged per yard). 4. Will Rebar be wanted or required? Rebar can also have a large impact on the Estimate due to its cost alone. Some jobs require a little of it, others a whole lot of it & sometimes none at all but the Homeowners would like to have it put in. 5. Will we need a Pump Truck to get the Conctete to the Pour Site or Will a Mixer Truck be able to back right up to it or at the very least maybe can we use a wheelbarrow to get it there? We ask this because if a Mixer Truck will work or even a wheelbarrow there usually isn't an extra cost However, If have to get a Pump Truck it's a Third Party Charge that we have to add into the Cost. 6. Is the Concrete going to be Stamped or Colored? Stamped/Colored Concrete is always going to be more than if you get the Regular Grey Color and the normal Broomed or Slick Finish because there is always a Third Party Charge for the purchase of the Color and the exact amount depends on the color you choose, Same with the Stamps, Every Stamp is normally a different cost depending on how much detail it has, etc.
How did you get started in this business?
I Started doing Concrete and Construction part time when I was 16 and Fell in love with the Art of Finishing Concrete. For the first 13 yrs of my career I worked for 2 other company's before realizing I wanted to train my own crew and start my own company, which I did in 2012 and have been going at it full speed ever since.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of our jobs are Residential jobs working with local Homeowners However, we also work with a few local General Contractors to do some smaller Commercial and Business projects as well.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Any job that we are asked to come back & do another one by the Homeowner or Contractor is a Project we are fond of, Because It means we have done our job to the standard of which we hold ourselves...... Excellence!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
First, Don't choose your Concrete Company based off of the lowest estimate you received because when it comes to Concrete you will usually get what you pay for, Especially with all the "Fly by Night" Company's out there and Second find a Company that enjoys doing Concrete as it will show in their work, So make sure to look at previous project pictures. Third, look for sincere honesty. As much as we would love to have every job we bid we also have no problem telling people when they don't really need the work done they think they are required to do. Unfortunately, people can be misinformed or get bad information by other company's & we aren't here to profit off that. We also know there are many different types of Concrete Projects out there & if we know of a company out there better suited for a certain project we have no qualms referring them. When looking at jobs our top priority will always be providing each customer with what we believe is in their best interest and unfortunately that's not always us.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Always ask what they would recommend as concrete is an Art and so you have someone who has a lot of brilliant ideas going through their head the second they step foot into your property.... use it to your advantage.
Also, ask Timeline questions such as how long before they can start? Once start how long until you finish? And throw a curveball at them and ask why you should hire them for this project as it just might be the answer that sets them apart from everyone else you have talked to!
