Pet Sitting And Dog Walking
About
Hi, I’m Lauren, a lifelong dog owner and pet enthusiast. I don’t have professional sitting and walking experience outside of Rover and Wag!, but I’ve looked after my friends’ pets in the past. I’ve also taken multiple basic and advanced canine training courses as well as classes specifically for handling reactive and aggressive temperaments. These courses made me realize how much I enjoy learning about and working with dogs. I’m currently looking for a canine trainer apprenticeship opportunity.
In April 2018, I adopted my own pup, a cattle dog mix, from the Boulder Humane Society. She was a stray before her stay at the Humane Society, and I brought her home knowing she had some behavioral problems. I believe that every dog deserves a loving home, and she was such a sweetheart that it wasn’t a difficult choice. She is terrified of both strange people and animals and tends to have a skittish reaction, so she requires extra attention on walks.
I have delicious all-natural doggie treats, poop bags, water and a collapsible bowl with me at all times.
