I work out of a space at a dog daycare facility. I have my own small space with all new equipment. I purchased an electric tub and table since they go lower to the floor to make it easier on elderly dogs or dogs with hip problems. Both have a nice smooth ride so it's not scary to the dogs. I work with 1 dog at a time so they have my full attention. If you have more then 1 dog you can bring all in at the same time.
I love all animals but dogs are very special in so many ways. I work many ederly dogs that many groomers don't want to do anymore since they take more time. I work with dogs that have anxiety. I'm able to take the extra time to go slow and easy. I am a certified groomer, CPR and first aid certified. animal nutrition certified and working on my animal behavioral certification.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Have them fill out a new form about their dog. I always greet new customers and dogs. Take time for their dog to get more comfortable with me then look then over. Find out what type cut, how long explain my grooming process. I'm all about compassionate grooming. I don't hurry and leave extra time for new dogs. I only do 1 dog at a time. A customers pet deserves my full attention the whole time they are with me.
