What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
That completely depends on the situation. When a customer contacts SJO Electric we ask multiple questions to ascertain the best way to move forward in resolving a customer's needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our electricians are trained in the field and in the classroom where they learn all the necessary skills to perform the work they are assigned.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We use a national standard task based flat rate pricing system for our service work. All other work such as remodels and rebuilds are priced a bit differently, as a whole job rather than task based. The field of electricity can be extremely complicated so naturally the pricing structures can be complicated as well.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Residential new build, remodel, and service. Working with General contractors, home owners, in collaboration with low volt technicians, landscape engineers and many others.
Commercial new build, tenant finish, and service. Working with General Contractors, business owners, property management companies and tenants.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Be certain that the individual you work with is a legitimate electrician with proper training and insurance.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
How quickly do they want the work done, what is their budget for repair or remodel work, what level of service are they looking for.
