About
From 2003 to 2008 I worked on the corporate operations side of new homes sales and marketing. It was a fantastic job that offered me the ability to be mentored by several of what I consider to be real estate icons. I earned my license in 2006, never having the intention to sell a home, but simply to grow my existing career. Fast forward to the market meltdown in 2008. I found myself, a 38 year old woman with three daughters and no college education in an industry that was virtually gone overnight. So what did I do? The answer, everything I had to in order to keep my home and pay my bills. Specifically, a lot of consulting with start-ups and lots of part time marketing gigs while I finished my degree. Fast forward to 2013, the market had still not recovered. Friends and family were still dealing with financial hardships. I had a close friend disclose to me that she was going to need to short sell her home. Having never attempted a real estate transaction, I confidently said, “I can do that”. And I did. The same year, I quit all of my miscellaneous jobs to jump head first back into what I realized had become my passion, real estate. On the advice of a trusted lender, I interviewed with and joined Big Block Realty as, I believe around agent number 50. Fast forward to present, Big Block Realty is the fastest growing brokerage in the US and I am personally in the top 5% of Realtors in San Diego, working on a team that produces in the top 1%.
