I'm Chris Szetela, and I started Maid VIP in Thousand Oaks in 2014 after watching too many people hire a house cleaner the way you'd hire a neighbor's kid to mow the lawn — a referral from a friend, no insurance check, no written price. We're a California domestic referral agency, which means we don't employ cleaners; we vet them. Every professional we refer has sat across from us for an interview, had references called, passed a background screening, and shown us a current liability policy that we verify again after the first visit. Then we match one professional to your home, and that same person comes back every time.

What it's like working with us: you get one flat price for a written scope before anyone is scheduled — it doesn't grow if the visit runs long — and a written 24-hour re-clean policy if something's missed. We publish our prices, our insurance limits, and our research on the website, because I think you should be able to check what we say. Twelve years, more than 200 background checks, seven offices from Malibu to Camarillo, and the homes we're best at are houses and estates where the finishes and the details matter.
