I have used Studio Blu twice. Once for my interior space in our Los Angeles home and the other for a kitchen remodel in our Sacramento home. My experience with Studio Blu was fun, inspiring and creative. Adrienne has a gift for being able to capture our style and character with 90% accuracy when she presented her first recommendations for furniture, textiles, window treatments, tile, flooring and counter options. She did this by taking the time to interview my husband and I and asking the right questions on what we want. Additionally, I asked her to stretch my creativity and that she did! She is sharp, funny, creative and has a lot of contacts even with local furniture makers if you have space issues. I love everything we did and get compliments galore on how she GOT us. She also scores high on coming in on project budget and deadline. Hire her!

Adrienne of Studio Blu was hired to design and purchase all FF&E for our 4100 sq. ft. home. Not only did she do a spectacular job of laying out the furniture appropriately for each room but her choice of fabrics and colors could not have made my husband and me any happier. Additionally, Adrienne space planned our kitchen and master bedroom and master close. Her space planning was impeccable and her concern for detail guaranteed that everything had a proper home with room to space!

Adrienne is a colorist of the highest quality and she is comfortable designing in many different styles. She would be an asset to any project she is asked to participate on.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to start with interviewing the client. It is so important to really get to know you and what your needs are. We create a custom package because we are not one-size-fits-all.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I graduated with a degree in interior architecture.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

We have 20 years experience so we know how long and how many hours a project takes. We feel charging per phase is the most cost efficient for the client. Some clients desire more one on one attention or extra options so we charge hourly on top of the phase when desired.

How did you get started in this business?

I have been working in the residential design field since design school. 30 years experience and I still love what I do!

What types of customers have you worked with?

My client's demographic has been so vast! We have catered to the 30 something hipster or the young family to well-established empty nesters and celebs. This range shows our range and confirms our philosophy, that our designs really are "all about you". Each client we work with appreciates and expects that we are a full-service design studio.
