About this pro

I have been a dog trainer since 2013, though I grew up with dogs throughout my childhood. I officially began an internship at Primal Canine in 2016 and excelled beyond my expectations and the staff. With the encouragement of Primal Canine, I started my own dog training business that includes dog training from beginning to service dog or protection dog level, and I also train habits of dogs, among other things. So if. If you need help, chances are, I can help you, or I will find someone who can!

I love learning about each dog and then the owner, working out the relationship, and developing a plan that will work for both dog and human. I enjoy dogs, and making them happier in their lives is what I want to do. Let me know how I can best help you and I will do it!

She was very friendly and very knowledgeable with training. My dog took to her right away

Emma is always attentive to what you and your dog need when it comes to training because often you aren’t training just the dog. Often people need training too.

Emma was amazing at structuring our lessons plans, and homework, to get us to our goals as fast as possible, making sure to adjust our goals to what was possible for me and my 2 dogs! After getting a puppy, our older dog began to act up. Emma was able to explain why Lola was acting the way she was toward Boomer. Emma was always available via email and text 24/7 and always responded within a reasonable timsframe! We only recommend WCDT as a dog trainer, pet sitter (she treats them like her own!), or even just for her individual dog walks with training which really helped Lola out. We are grateful for all that Emma (and Wilfred!) helped us achieve and look forward to seeing them during our refresher lessons.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Since 2013 I have trained under some of the best dog trainers in the area.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Ask any and all questions you can think of! Make sure you and the person you select get along with your pup as well as with you! Don't be afraid to walk away from a trainer not living up to your expectations. Be prepared to pay for quality training and other services for your dog pack.
