About

1. Performing

I'm able to play any song of any style upon request when I play at a venue. Customers who dine there, really appreciate the nice ambience that the music I play produces. They are also welcome to sing along if they so desire. I also offer them the opportunity to play a fun game of Name That Tune.

2. Teaching

I enjoy working with students of any age and can teach them any style of music. I mix up their lessons by explaining concepts to them during their lesson, asking them to play the song which I assigned for homework, asking them to practice naming the notes with the flash cards, music theory games, and more! I organize music recitals for them twice a year. It's a very exciting experience for them, their parents, and their relatives.

3. Piano Tuning

I have perfect pitch and am able to tune any piano by ear. I adjust the strings very slowly and carefully. When the process is complete, I demonstrate how much better the piano sounds by playing popular songs that everybody knows. It is a fun process that leads to a game of Name That Tune.

Frequently asked questions

1. Make sure to give the best first impression possible.

2. Make sure to explain the process so that it makes sense to the client.

3. Be very friendly with them.

Education:

I graduated from CSU East Bay with a bachelor's degree.

Performing:

I have been playing the piano all my life and use that gift to play in multiple venues.

Piano Tuning:

I have been tuning pianos for many years and am able to make them sound beautiful again.

Teaching:

I have been teaching for many years as well, and really enjoy sharing my passion with students in order to help them to become good at playing as well.

Teaching:

I teach at a monthly rate of $100 for 4 lessons or $125 for 5 lessons. Lessons are always prepaid at the beginning of each month.

Piano tuning:

I charge $125 for tuning in the Contra Costa County area. Further travel is available for an additional fee.

Performing:

I charge $150 for performing in the Contra Costa County. I charge an additional fee to play anywhere beyond that.

With the help of family and friends, I created a logo for my first set up of business cards. They also helped design my first website. As time went by, I learned more ways to advertise on my own to pick up more music students, piano tuning jobs, and playing gigs. I now have a much nicer website, and I'm using modern-day tools such as Google, Yelp, and HomeGuide itself, to help my music business stand out better and pick up more clients.

All kinds.

Each venue that schedules me to play at each week/month gives me the opportunity to play whatever song I want and any style of music. I truly enjoy this because it gives me the freedom to fully express my talent.

If you hire me I will make sure that the job is done correctly and that a fair price is given.
